Dog Care Services

All pet sitting services include dog walking, feeding, belly rubs, light conversation and cleanup.

Pet Care Service Rates are based on time and number of pets.

• 30 Minute Visit – $20 per visit
• 45 Minute Visit – $30 per visit
• 60 Minute Visit – $40 per visit
• 90 Minute Visit – $60 per visit
• 2 Hour Visit – $80 per visit

Additional Pets:
• $3 extra per dog

Cat Care Services

All pet sitting services include, feeding, playtime, light conversation and litter box cleaning.

Visits can be morning, midday, dinner or evening (And multiple times per day)

Cat Care Service Rates are based on time and number of pets.

• 30 Minute Visit – $20 per visit
• 45 Minute Visit – $30 per visit
• 60 Minute Visit – $40 per visit

Additional Pets:
• $2 extra per cat

Midday Dog Walking

Midday Dog Walks are regular daily visits to your pet while you are at work. A monthly commitment is required for all midday dog walking visits.

Midday Dog Walks are based on time and number of pets and require monthly commitment.

• 20 Minute Midday Dog Walk – $18 per visit

Additional Pets:
• $3 extra per dog

Dog Runs

We will take your dog for a run in your neighborhood. In summer months running is only offered in the morning and evening to avoid the mid-day heat for safety reasons.

Dog Running Rates are based on time and number of pups.

• 30 Minute Dog Run – $32 per visit
• 45 Minute Dog Run – $47 per visit

Additional Pets:
• $3 extra per dog

Overnight Pet Care

Overnight Pet Care is when a pet sitter stays in your home from 8pm to 7am, and includes a feeding and a walk at night as well as in the morning. Extra visits can be added for midday and dinner if needed.

Overnight Pet Care Rates:
• Overnight Pet Care – $80 per night

Additional Services

Late Night Pet Sitting – A pet care visit after 8:00pm.
Anytime Cat Visits – If your cat is not particular about a certain time of day to eat his food, our pet sitters will schedule a visit during non-peak hours.
Hotel Visits – Visiting from out of town? We will stay in your room with your dog while you are in Atlanta. Buckhead Pet Pals is recommended by hotels such as: Ritz Carlton, W Hotel, Marriott, St. Regis, Lowes, and the Omni.
Waiting for Repairman – We know your life is busy and waiting at home for your repairman or delivery services is less than convenient. Let us wait for you!

Additional Service Rates are based on time, time of visit, and number of pets in your home.

• Early Morning Pet Sitting – $25 per visit
• Late Night Pet Sitting – $25 per visit
• Anytime Cat Visit 30 Min. – $20 per visit
• Anytime Cat Visit 45 Min. – $30 per visit
• Anytime Cat Visit 60 Min. – $40 per visit
• Hotel Pet Care Visit – $40 per hour
• Waiting For Repairman – $40 per hour

Life happens, we get it. However, in order to provide top tier service to all of our clients, we do have a few “fine print” items of which you should be aware.

Meet and Greet – Initial Meet and Greet of a pet sitter is Free. If you need your sitter to come back or pick up keys or return keys there will be a charge of $20.

Holiday Fee

  • A holiday surcharge of time-and-a-half will apply for visits made on the following holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
  • Days around major holidays will add a surcharge of $5 per visit. These days will vary from year to year but generally include the heavy travel weekends and days surrounding a major holiday.

Late Booking Fee – We apply a $10 late booking fee for all visits scheduled less than 24 hours in advance.

Cancellation Fee – Visits cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the rate of one visit. Visits cancelled with at least 24 hours notice will result in a credit applied to future pet sitting visits. No refunds will be given.

Overnight cancellations - Holiday Overnight Visits - you must provide a 3 week notice from the start of the appointment to cancel any or all overnight visits. No credits or refunds will be given if overnights are cancelled after the 3 weeks notice period from the start of the appointment.

Holiday Cancellation – All holiday reservations require a 7-day notice for changes and cancellations or client will be charged for the services reserved. No credits will be given for early returns during holiday periods. All holiday visits must be prepaid during Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s and cancellations are non-refundable.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Meet and Greet is the first step to pet care service. Here you’ll meet your pet sitter and show your them your pets’ routine, location of supplies and provide any additional relevant information about your home or pet.

To prepare for your Meet and Greet, log in to our online scheduling software.

If you are new to Buckhead Pet Pals and would like to register, please do so under NEW CLIENT.

Please prepare two (2) sets of house keys for our use to be picked up at the Meet and Greet. We ask that you please test each key to ensure that it works properly. We may access your home via a 24/7 concierge with a key release. Please also provide any access fobs or codes necessary for entry into your community at the Meet and Greet. Then will ensure seamless pet care service.

We require two sets of house keys from all clients, no exceptions. One set of keys remains in the care of your primary pet sitter and the other set is kept in our office safe to be used in the case of a lock-out or emergency. In the event you have a secondary sitter assigned they will be given your second set of keys. You will have the opportunity to do a Meet and Greet with your secondary sitter. All keys are coded for your security. We cannot offer services without two sets of keys.

A primary pet sitter is the pet sitter that is assigned to you and your pets. Your primary pet sitter will conduct the Meet and Greet and will keep your key for use during future appointments. While your primary pet sitter may not always be available, they will be the first pet sitter to be called on to care for your pets. Please have your pet profile updated online prior to the Meet and Greet so you and your pets can get to know your sitter.

Your pet sitter will leave daily notes on each visit they make to your home. They will also text/call you on your first visit to ensure you know they have started the visits. Most times, you get pictures of your pets having fun emailed or texted to you while you are out of town.

Cancellation Policy

Non-holiday –

  • Visits cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the rate of one visit. Visits cancelled with at least 24 hours notice will result in a credit applied to future pet sitting visits. No refunds will be given.
  • Overnight Visits-you must provide a 7 day notice from the start of the appointment to cancel any or all overnight visits. No credits or refunds will be give if overnights are cancelled after the 7 day notice period from the start of the appointment.

Holidays –

  • All reservations over the holiday periods require a 7 day cancellation notice prior to the start of service. No credits or refunds will be given if visits are cancelled within an appointment without a 7 day notice from the start of that appointment.
  • Holiday Overnight Visits – you must provide a 3 week notice from the start of the appointment to cancel any or all overnight visits. No credits or refunds will be given if overnights are cancelled after the 7 day notice period from the start of the appointment.

Credits given as a result of cancelling with required notice will be held on account for 6 months. After 6 months, the credit will no longer be available.

  • Edit My Info Tab – to update client information
  • View My Pets Tab – (inside my info)
  • Click on Pets Name – to update pet/vet/feeding info
  • Review My Appointments Tab – View, edit or cancel appointments
  • Schedule My Appointments Tab – Schedule future appointments
